Prophet's Game, The
Dennis Hopper play's retired cop Vincent Swan who receives a postcard, apparently from a serial killer he had bought to justice years ago. He soon begins to wonder if he may have got the wrong man or if a psychotic copycat is taunting him. Swan's phone number is discovered on the body of a high profile Los Angeles murder victim, and he is forced to re-open the case and join the L.A.P.D investigation in the hunt for the truth. But the killer draws him further and further into his deadly game with every move he makes, a game from which there is only one escape.
